On the left picture it is outlined: a useful solution when you are in front of remarkable lengths and the coupling of more two shutters jalousies instead of a multi-shutters one. We supplied counterframes which had a dimension capable not to create an exposure on stone and two central coated uprights which had the same varnishing as the jalousies. The union of the French door and of the two shutters window with a plastered area created a pleasant effect. Raffaello brown varnishing. In the page dedicated to shutters you can also see the upper part of the house.

Security jalousies assembly example on a bound old house in the historic part of a city. The façade on the left side has two security jalousies which were studied especially for this project (brown Raffaello colour), they have a 20 mm special tubular frame without exposure. The façade on the right has some traditional wooden jalousies: the comparison it’s up to you! (click on the picture to enlarge).

Detail of the jalousies which are described on the left and below.

Detail of the above house (in the historic part of the city, the façade is wholly built with bricks). On ground floor “bull’s eye” grates, on upper floor security jalousies with 20 mm frame which has been studied especially for this occasion (click to enlarge). In this picture you can notice a peculiarity: the 20 mm frame lintel of the jalousie was white powder varnished, and became quite undistinguished, so it does not spoil the stone architectonic solution (click to enlarge).
Security jalousies with blind base. Instead of the varying terminal we realized a blind alveolated base. The base could be built up according to the dimensions the customer wants.

Above you can see a single shutter jalousie/French window, which has a section breaker double slotted tubular tyre that, with remarkably long shutters, simulates the double shutter and backs the structure (click to enlarge).

Security jalousie with closed inside: the outer side is absolutely normal, but inside we applied previously varnished closing sheet-iron. On the left: French window. On the right: the detail (click to enlarge). The solutions with closed inner side are usable when you have rooms on the basement floor of a villa, which need closed doors but no air inlet, and on the other hand you need to mount a jalousie in order not to spoil the house aesthetic uniformity.
