We work the best materials, without saving on quality and using all the time it is necessary

Security jalousies are made in galvanized iron. We use draw pieces from sheet metals which are galvanized by Sendzimir process (continuous hot galvanizing process for sheet metals in coil, obtained, after pickling, for immersion in a melted zinc bath at 440° C, then passage between sizing rolls and unwinding on paddle wheel). The zinc thickness is 175/200 micron.

Profiles are coplanar, which means both aesthetical refinement and working accuracy. Coplanar profiles don’t have exposure wings between shutters, for this reason they need much accuracy in cutting and assembling.

The oval plates are bored at the edges after cutting, then inserted in the shutters profile previously holed. After this step (made with a machine studied and carried out by us), an iron pin is inserted through the plates hole (picture on the right), so that the final result is anti-pull and nice to see (there are no welding lumps).

At shutters base we insert a profile of variable height provided with a lower drip. The use of this kind of variable profile allows to produce shutters with the required height (otherwise a modulated height should be adopted, which is less accurate).

The galvanized hinges, are welded and provided with brass pins (they don’t oxidize) and thrust ball bearings (go to “accessories and details” page to see finished and painted hinges).

On the side of the hinges we put very strong anti-pull bolts, which go into the frame when jalousies are closed, increasing the resistance to unhinging.

Locks are with needle-key (by request for European profile cylinder) and close by handle in three points: frontal, upper and lower. The terminals of the upper and lower bolts measure mm. 10 with a rotating anti –saw  and cementite insert.

When closed, a single turn of the key will stop the mechanism.

Different types of external frames are available, suitable for any need (see specific page).

Once assembled (on an assembling table studied by us) and welded, the jalousie is finished by the following processes: in the factory – superficial cleaning of the product from scums, welding splashes etc; light superficial sanding; first degreasing.

In the painting department – degreasing by ferric phosphates, through the passage in a tunnel with high pressure jets (on the left the cabin with the nozzles before the treatment beginning).

After this bath, the material is passed in the oven  to dry (on the right  frames going out from the oven).

At this point there is the application of the thermo- hardener powder varnishes by jets (on the left), by hand for more accuracy (on the right); passage in the oven  at 190°/210°C; cooling and control (thicknesses are on the average between 60 and 100 micron). Click on the images to enlarge.

On the left freshly varnished jalousies coming out from the oven. In the test department: re-assembling of jalousies on horizontal tables with controlled top;  assembling of locks and accessories; final trial; disassembling shutters/frames.

Then your jalousies will be packed with care. Did you see how much attention and how many controls for our armoured shutters before they arrive in your houses?

We work the best materials without saving on quality, taking all the time it is necessary and choosing the best technologies to offer the best product!
